Zubat and Golbat!

No, Zubat doesn't have eyes- those're just little dented sockets waiting to be filled with eyeballs after evolution. I like to think that Golbat's got that big ol' mouth because it unhinges, like a snake's, for whatever reason. Massive bug consumption, more room to Screech with... etc.

Oh jeez, it's been three months since I've updated this! Herp-a-derp.
Currently, I'm trying to find the sketchbook (and I have a looooootttt of sketchbooks!) that has the vulpix, jigglypuff, and wigglytuff drawings. Obviously, I have it somewhere, as it's the same book with Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, etc.. I've got ninetails; she's in a separate book and ready to be uploaded.

Fooey. Well, I'll keep looking, and I should have the next four pokemon up very shortly.

Hm, Thinking, Thinking..

Unrelated to most of these posts, but..
For a couple of months now, since I started doing these sketches, I've been thinking of doing a realistic Pokemon comic. Like, really realistic; adult themes, corruption, violence, death, blahblahblah, etc.

Main story would be the adventures of a young trainer and his Pokemon, with the side-story being about the trainer's older brother (a cop in one of the bigger cities) dealing with the mafia-like Team Rocket. It's much better than it sounds, I swear! Ha.

But yeh, I may be getting to doing that at some point, so if you see any people-related sketches, that's probably where they're from.

No big deal. I'll probably do a separate blog for the comic, should I ever actually get to doing it.

tl;dr - I'm thinkin' about doing a more "adult" Pokemon comic.

Nidoran, Nidorino, and Nidoking!

Not entirely satisfied with Nidoking's outlining; kinda hurried much of it (easy to see compared to certain other sketches) at like 3-something in the morning.

Whatever. 

I liked doing the faces for both Nidorans, they were so mouse-y and cute. Their little noses, ha.
