CLEFAIRYCLEFAIRYCLAFAIRYCLE-!

Clefairy and Clefable!
Clefable was one of the first ones I'd sketched, and he's probably one of my favorites so far.
Clefairy's little pudgy belly, aww.

Hm, Thinking, Thinking..

Unrelated to most of these posts, but..
For a couple of months now, since I started doing these sketches, I've been thinking of doing a realistic Pokemon comic. Like, really realistic; adult themes, corruption, violence, death, blahblahblah, etc.

Main story would be the adventures of a young trainer and his Pokemon, with the side-story being about the trainer's older brother (a cop in one of the bigger cities) dealing with the mafia-like Team Rocket. It's much better than it sounds, I swear! Ha.

But yeh, I may be getting to doing that at some point, so if you see any people-related sketches, that's probably where they're from.

No big deal. I'll probably do a separate blog for the comic, should I ever actually get to doing it.

tl;dr - I'm thinkin' about doing a more "adult" Pokemon comic.

S'good to be King..

..whatever the pay.

Nidoran, Nidorino, and Nidoking!

Not entirely satisfied with Nidoking's outlining; kinda hurried much of it (easy to see compared to certain other sketches) at like 3-something in the morning.
Whatever.
I liked doing the faces for both Nidorans, they were so mouse-y and cute. Their little noses, ha.

More on the wayyy!

Arceus Save the Queen

Nidoran, Nidorina, Nidoqueen!
A itty-baby Nidoran wakes up from a nap, a wary Nidorina eyes her surroundings, and a big, bad mama Nidoqueen finds out someone's been messing with her eggs.

Probably a Raticate.

Taming of the Sandshrew

Haw-haw, see what I did there?
Uh, okay.
Anyway, here are Sandshrew and Sandslash!

Also, I just noticed that my image of Ekans and Arbok won't enlarge if you try to click on it. For anyone even remotely curious, I'll get that figured out soon, probably have to edit the entry or something.
Thanks for viewing, not to mention your patience!

Electric Pikachu Boogaloo!

Pikachu, my all-time favorite Pokemon.
Aaand Raichu!

I like my Pikachu's fat and adorable. You can't go wrong with wideload-chu, I think.
Title's from an awesome little Pokemon manga series that I loved reading as a kid.

"HOLY F*** SNAKE!!!"

..was my reaction the moment I saw a bullsnake slithering across my barefoot in South Dakota. I thought it was a rattlesnake.
SNAKES!

HIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Bad! Bad Davi!!

Si, mi dispiace. I have a nasty habit of getting terribly distracted. Constantly side-tracked, I am, as it's obviously been more than a month and a half, if not two months(!), since I last updated.

Was flipping through some sketchbooks looking for blank pages when I stumbled across this piece and realized I hadn't updated in an obnoxiously long amount of time!

So, I present: Spearow and Fearow!! Fearow is one of my all-time favorite Pokemon so he was as much of a delight as he was frustrating to draw.
Enjoy!

All those feathersFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-.

Swoosh!

Here's the first set of bird-type Pokemon. And, like all birds, this was a rather annoying task for me. Well, it's not all that bad, I do like doing the feathers.

Poor Caterpie.

Now, onto the rats!

Don't Move - There's a HUGE Bee on You!

*KER-WHAP!*

Ah, here are numbers 10-15; our first bug Pokemon! I like irl bugs alot, but I was never much of a bug trainer in the games. Maybe I should give them another shot?

Caterpie, Metapod, and Butterfree.
Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill.

I like Butterfree's little graspy, bug-hands.

Starter Set

Here's the first nine Pokemon, Bulbasaur to Blastoise! My starter was always Bulbasaur. Who was yours?

There's two Bulbasaurs because I'm (still) not entirely satisfied with how he looks. I just want to cuddle Ivysaur, though.
Aww, Charmander..

Not so sure about the little Squirtle, but Wartortle and Blastoise are looking pretty cool to me! Wartortle's got feathers and not fur for his tail and ears simply because he's reptilian, and reptiles are much closer to birds than they are mammals. Just in case anyone was wondering. :)

Thanks for viewing, look out for more coming up very soon! Next up is the Caterpie evolution set, maybe even a sketch or two for the ones after?
